Kuplak Mining Group
A multi-site inventory and asset management system deployed across Kuplak Mining Group's operations in the Lake Zone region. The system provides real-time visibility into equipment, spare parts, fuel, consumables, and maintenance schedules across all sites from a central management console.
Managing inventory across multiple remote mining sites on spreadsheets meant stock levels were always uncertain. Emergency procurement was common and expensive. Equipment breakdowns caused by missed maintenance were a regular occurrence. There was no consolidated view for procurement managers.
ASL developed a web-based inventory and asset management system with real-time stock tracking per site, minimum stock alerts, purchase order management and supplier tracking, goods received notes, inter-site stock transfers, equipment maintenance scheduling with reminder notifications, and management dashboards for procurement analysis.
Inventory accuracy improved to 98%. Emergency stockouts eliminated in first operating year. Procurement costs reduced by approximately 15% through better planning. Equipment downtime reduced through proactive maintenance scheduling. System now manages over 3,000 active SKUs across all sites.
