A comprehensive HR and payroll management system deployed at Shorelark Logistics to manage a distributed workforce of drivers, operations staff, and management across multiple depots. The system covers the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, with automated monthly payroll processing.
As the logistics operation expanded, managing staff records on spreadsheets became unmanageable. Payroll calculations were done manually each month, taking days and producing errors. Leave requests were tracked on paper, and management had no consolidated view of workforce performance or headcount costs.
ASL deployed a full HR and Payroll Management System covering staff onboarding and records, contract management, attendance tracking, leave application and approval workflows, automated payroll calculations with statutory deductions (NSSF, PAYE, SDL, WCF), payslip generation, and HR analytics. Integration with the company's biometric attendance system was included.
